Leeward Coast

The western side of Oahu, known as the Leeward Coast, has beautiful beaches and a calmer atmosphere than Honolulu and Waikiki.

The sunny and dry Leeward Coast of Oahu is only 48 kms from Waikiki and rests at the foot of the Waianae mountain range, but the contrast between the two regions is stunning. Whereas Waikiki is more developed, the Leeward side of Oahu is less developed, with majestic towns, absolutely gorgeous off-the-beaten-path beaches, and rural landscapes to explore.
