Casual clothing is suitable for during the day and touring however at night you might want to dress up a little depending on where you are in America.

America's power is 110-120 volt so you will need a USA adaptor.

Immigration

Currency used in Alaska is US Dollars. There are plenty of ATM and currency exchange places in the main cities. All major credit cards are widely excepted through out the whole of Alaska.

Shopping is endless and pretty much you are always able to find a bargain in the many department stores or factory outlets. Shops generally open at 10am and close about 9pm. Stores are open on the weekend again opening at 10am and closing around 6pm.
