Denali National Park

Michael DeYoung/Alaska Tourism

The biggest peak in North America, stands at 20,310 feet in Interior Alaska. Denali is located in Denali National Park & Preserve, over 6 million acre wilderness of tundra, rivers, and mountains. But it’s not just the snow-capped summit of Denali that make this place so beautiful. The park is inhabited by 37 species of mammals, including the “big five”: brown bear, moose, wolf, Dall sheep, and caribou, as well as 130 species of birds.
